Creative Caerlaverock, The Imaginarium & The Stove Network cordially invite you to A Time Travelling feast for the senses - otherwise called an Ancestral Supper…

Combining food, music, soundscape, and live performance, the Ancestral Supper will be the first of a series of engagement events delivered in partnership with The Imaginarium, in association with Historic Environment Scotland

 Join us on:

Date:     Thursday 26 January 2023

Time:     18:00 - 22:00 (doors open 17.30)

Venue:    Barbour Memorial Hall, Glencaple, Dumfries, DG1 4QY

Free transport from Dumfries town centre to the venue will be available should you need it.

Your company is requested because we know that you will have valuable insight and/or unique perspectives to contribute to the discussion about the future of Caerlaverock; so please join us to explore our shared connection and uncover new ideas for the development of one of Scotland's most iconic landmarks.

We will feast and explore the past, present, and future of Caerlaverock castle and it’s surrounding landscape and as this is an Ancestral Supper, we invite you to bring an object that connects you with your own ancestors. This may be an item of clothing, a trinket, crest, letter, coin, or photograph; whichever you feel unites you with your ancestors, living and/or ancient.

Please RSVP via Eventbrite in the link below - then all that remains is for you to join us at the Ancestral Supper and help make history, we can’t wait to welcome you!
