You are cordially invited to join us for a very special event celebrating the phenomenally inspiring life of Dr Flora Murray, on the exact day of the centenary anniversary of her death. 

Daughter of Dumfries, Suffragette, Medical Pioneer, Radical Activist and LGBTQ+ Icon, Flora was a true Rebel Queen of the South. 

This joyful remembrance event will commemorate and pay tribute to the life and legacy of Dr Flora Murray through Gloriously Happy live performances and special guest speakers reflecting her life the way she lived it: with pride, activism, creativity and by utilising the arts.

 Please join us directly after the Memorial Event, for Cream Tea and an informal gathering at The Duncan Rooms, Easterbrook Hall, 12-2pm.

This is a FREE public event, delivered through kindness, generosity and appreciation for the life of Dr Flora Murray, we look forward to seeing you there, spread the word, bring some friends, and help us to properly commemorate this phenomenal Doonhamer!

This event is a special collaboration between DJ McDowall of the The Imaginarium + The Crichton Trust, supported by Dumfries & Galloway Council and The People’s Project, as part of a series of Dr Flora Murray Centenary Celebrations.
